Utter Waffle - a gem within the South London brunch scene! We opened our Balham restaurant in 2024, our second site after our Herne Hill baby! Since our launch, we've collected a small cabinet of trophies and awards, and have even cooked our savoury waffles on Masterchef, Sunday Brunch & Saturday Kitchen! Our busy brunch restaurant serves everything from fried chicken & waffles and our signature avo smash, to bottomless brunch & craft beers. For those with a sweet tooth - fret not as the desserts are pretty good too - (we're even the proud winners of The Best Dessert in the UK (British Street Food Awards)), so there really is something for everyone! Wonderful lunch at Indigo. Shows how creative chefs can be, providing an incredibly delicious menu of delights while remaining dairy and gluten free. My non-intolerant husband couldn’t tell the difference at all in the creme brulee dessert nor the amazing bread. I loved being able to choose whatever I wanted in a lovely ambient, first class restaurant. Thank you!

We ate at Hawksmoor Air Street before the theatre. The staff were great from the moment I arrived. Very welcoming and approachable. We told our server that we needed to be out by 7pm and they did their best to keep our dishes coming quickly. The set menu is lovely - almost all of us opted for the rump steak and the potted beef to start. Nothing was left on the plates it was that good! Steaks cooked to perfection, unctuous sauces and those chips! It was our friend's birthday and despite not having any room or time for dessert, he got a scoop of ice cream on a decorated plate with a candle for us to sing happy birthday! Much appreciated. Always a great experience.

Such a sweet little place. Food was scrumptious and our server was absolutely lovely. Had the gluten free waffle which was incredible.

Great team, service was great and they have an almost 100% gluten free menu! They are very knowledgeable about gluten so felt safe to eat there The restaurant was clean, menu diverse and very good Will definitely recommend!
