The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery. We ate at Hawksmoor Air Street before the theatre. The staff were great from the moment I arrived. Very welcoming and approachable. We told our server that we needed to be out by 7pm and they did their best to keep our dishes coming quickly. The set menu is lovely - almost all of us opted for the rump steak and the potted beef to start. Nothing was left on the plates it was that good! Steaks cooked to perfection, unctuous sauces and those chips! It was our friend's birthday and despite not having any room or time for dessert, he got a scoop of ice cream on a decorated plate with a candle for us to sing happy birthday! Much appreciated. Always a great experience.

beautiful colourful food, bursting with amazing flavours. Absolutely delicious. Service was wonderful too and some of the nicest wine i’ve had in a long time. Only complaint was being told that we only have the table for 1.5hrs, it’s not the best vibe as soon as you walk in and just would’ve though that 2hrs minimum was appropriate but I get that it was a busy friday night. Otherwise an impeccable dining experience, thanks so much.
