The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. Couldn’t have chose a better restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Anastasia was our personal host. She greeted us with a smile and she went above and beyond. The staff was friendly and professional - the food and drinks were exquisite. Some of our favourites were: crispy rice with guacamole and truffle as well as cauliflower bang bang taco. Also, the panacota was top notch. We will be coming back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea at the Lanesborough. The selection of teas was great and quite different, the sandwiches and sweets were lovely and their presentation was fantastic and the overall atmosphere, paired with the piano playing, was wonderful. Every single member of staff we encountered were super friendly and welcoming and made the experience really memorable. Can't wait to return!

Absolutely outstanding Steak and ale pie was about as perfect as you can get..the steaks were flavoursome and perfectly cooked The apple toffee pud beautiful Could not recommend this pub/restaurant more Thanks to the good people of the fox and pheasant for a top notch lunch!!
