The Watermans Richmond is an all day Restaurant and Bar in the centre of town, conveniently located on an ancient cobbled street that leads down to the waterfront.Our food is the best of British ingredients, served with a nod to southern Europe, with favourite dishes ranging from scallop ravioli to fregola, veal chops and day boat fish. Good experience, lovely decor, good staff though they did overhear the convo and joined in. Not sure what I think about that! With all of these types of restaurants, I think the food is over priced but that is the way of the world. I would feel better paying a cover charge and a charge for service, as that is why I go there, versus over priced food.

I booked lunch pre rugby test match. The venue was very busy, but in a good way. It was incredible how the staff seamlessly handled a venue full of excited rugby fans. Steak was perfect, sides were tasty and sommelier’s wine recommendation spot on. Service was friendly, efficient and professional. I will certainly be returning.
