Ognisko restaurant on Exhibition Road in the heart of South Kensington, is just a stone’s throw away from the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Royal Albert Hall and London Imperial College. I had an excellent experience at Ognisko, dining with a mate! I had no prior experience of Polish cuisine and now my expectations have been set so high following the dinner last night - I can't wait to return to Ognisko with more of my friends and partners!

I love the clubby relaxed feel of this place, so it easily wins 5 stars for ambience. The service is great - typical top end London chic. But the surprise is the food. The menu doesn’t look exciting but the finished product certainly is. From the chicken salad stater through the pork belly mash with black pudding mash to the way better then normal cheese board, it was a perfect place to work through a few excellent bottles of wine whilst putting the world to rights!
