La Palombe is a new neighbourhood bistro from restaurateur James Chiavarini (also of Il Portico) & chef patron Jake Leach (previously head chef at the three Michelin starred The Ledbury).A large wood burning grill takes center stage where the majority of the dishes are cooked over live embers. The atmosphere was charming and eclectic. The staff were friendly and efficient. The food was delicious. This was one of the best meals I have eaten in London. I look forward to going back and would highly recommend.

Bridgerton Afternoon tea - we sat in the raised area around the main regency room. We were eating at 12.30 on a Monday so nice and quiet. Piano music lovely and the food was exceptional . We were not rushed at any point and the sandwiches and themed cakes were lovely and gooey. The lemon curd with the scones was really good - there was strawberry jam as well. We were asked if we want more sandwiches and I was provided with a box to take a couple of cakes home.
