The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery. Food was lovely, we got a table in the shade in a sunny day and the service was delightful. They are also very kind as they brought a water bowl for my dog :-)

Our 5th visit to the Mitre in a couple of years although this time just the two of us. Fantastic food and friendly & helpful staff. It was busy & as the weather was nice the outside was busy too which meant there was an occasional smell of cigarette smoke which drifted inside. That said, we will be be back next time we staying in Kensington.
