The building and decor are charming and rustic, with elegant modern touches. A unique little restaurant with a good vibe. Good atmosphere and friendly service. Mains were reasonably priced but sides felt expensive for the size portion (red cabbage for example). The meat eaters enjoyed their mains (pork belly/chicken supreme) but I wouldn’t recommend place for vegetarians. Only one main (celeriac steak) that really wasn’t very nice. I’ve been vegetarian for 25plus years and don’t consider myself picky but I couldn’t finish it. I would go back if the vegetarian options were improved/more diverse.

Good parking availability. Friendly staff and they know their food, which they can explain what the dishes are. Very good service, staff kept checking and make sure your water are topped up. Good quality food, definitely enough for a normal person. Tried the fish and chips and it was perfectly cooked.

Can't go wrong with the steaks, rare was actually rare, done perfectly with good sear. Great service from the staff, nice ambience. If there were more parking spaces available (but there was an event that day so that's ok) would have been a 10/10!
