Lunch Menu - Two Courses for £30 / Three Courses for £35We are an independent restaurant in the heart of Chester offering microseasonal dining with menus designed around what's growing on our farm in Daresbury. Menus change every four to six weeks. Happy Hour is available in our lounge from 4-6pm on Thursday-Saturday with "Two for £15" Cocktails, wine and beer specials. Please note we are currently card-only and unable to accept cash.     We had wonderful service from start to finish all staff were attentive and polite. The new menu for Winter was great plenty of fabulous choices, plus the addition of the Christmas / Festive Menu. There was nothing left on our plates so that says it all , all the food was beautifully prepared and presented and every element was delicious . We love eating at The Millstone

    I had booked a table in the restaurant but was actually seated in the bar dining area. However the table we had was fine as it was reasonably quiet. The service , food and atmosphere were very good. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. I have been to The Royal Oak a few times at various times of the day over past 12 months as it is an ideal place to meet ip with friends and will be going again in the new year.

    I've been coming to the Farm Shop for many years now so I suppose that says something already - they continue to do great food and the staff are always friendly and professional.

    Despite booking only minutes before we arrived and the place being extremely busy, we were given a warm welcome and received the best service we’ve had anywhere for many a year.
