Opting for the 5-course tasting menu during our visit on Wednesday evening, we were treated to a journey of flavours that were as refined as they were inventive. Each dish was a testament to the creative genius of Chef Aktar Islam and his team, blending traditional Indian influences with modern techniques in ways that delighted the senses. From the very first bite, it was clear that each plate had been crafted with meticulous attention to detail. The balance of flavours, the textures, and the presentation were flawless—elevating every course into a work of art. It was impossible to pick a favourite dish as every course brought something unique to the table, showcasing a remarkable depth of culinary skill. The service was equally impeccable. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, their knowledge of the dishes and wine pairings enhancing the entire experience. Every interaction felt warm and genuine, creating an atmosphere of relaxed elegance that perfectly complemented the meal. The highlight of the evening, however, was our post-dinner conversation with Chef Aktar Islam. His dedication to his craft and his customers was evident in every word, and it was truly inspiring to hear firsthand about his culinary philosophy. It is rare to encounter a chef so committed to pushing boundaries while maintaining such a profound respect for the origins of his cuisine. Opheem is not just a restaurant; it is an experience—one that transcends dining and enters the realm of art. We left feeling not only satisfied but deeply inspired. Lovely Time. Food Was Good. Starters was lovely. A Little Dissappointed With The Sanpei Chicken For The Main, it was bland and the chicken tasted boiled. no flavour. however the Nyonya Lamb was delicious

I had an amazing meal out with friends and family at The Rolling Mill. For starters, I enjoyed the pork belly with pineapple and the bratwurst sausage salad—both delicious and unique. My main course, shin of beef in bourguignon sauce, was perfectly tender and full of flavour. To finish, I had the croissant bread and butter pudding with custard, which was the perfect sweet ending. The food was delicious, and the service was flawless. The Christmas decorations added a lovely festive touch, creating a warm and beautiful atmosphere. Always highly recommend!

Love this place … food is amazing, people are so friendly. Thankfully the whole family enjoys going.
