Merchants serves Scottish cuisine in one of the most bustling areas of Edinburgh. Had a really great first experience at Nor’ Loft last night. The lady who served us was amazing. Really extensive knowledge of the champagne on offer and helped us select something new that we’d never tried before and lived it. Will definitely book again.

This was one of the best meals we have ever had. The steak medallions dinner was so tasty and the various pudding we shared were brilliant too. It was great value for money. We would 100% recommend this place to anyone who asks.

Loved our dinner! We were at the castle lights and got a text to say our table was ready! Earlier than planned but suited us as we were cold and almost done at the castle. We headed down and were greeted with a warm welcome. Drinks and food were superb. Service was friendly and relaxed. Atmosphere was calm and not too noisey. Allergies were catered for with no fuss. We all really enjoyed our meal. Will definitely be back. Thank you! ⭐️
