We’ve long loved Canary Wharf and it's rich history of the nearby Docklands and Billingsgate Market, yet Blacklock in a glass tower never quite fit. One look at an old disused warehouse nestled cosily in the corner of Canary Wharf underneath the train tracks of the North Dock and we knew we had found home. Feel the comforting rumble of trains passing overhead conjuring memories of some of our favourite haunts underneath the bridges in NYC - a place where, with the blinds rolled down and away from prying eyes, a decadent lunch can swiftly roll into dinner.

Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca.     Fantastic customer service, amazing food & brilliant value for money! Highly recommend the steak sandwich for lunch & the cheesecake is divine!! Huge portion on the dessert!! Enough to share!

    Our table upstairs was spacious and not too near neighbouring diners. A speaker near us meant the music was a bit too loud but the friendly waitress turned it down as soon as I asked. The new Prix Fixe menu was quite different from last week, but our choices were delicious.

    My waitress was very lovely. I wish I could put her name here, but I forgot to ask for her name, but we were late to our booking for the restaurant that other people booked the same table as us so instead of them kicking us out  she put us in the lounge so you could have more time and celebrate my birthday the way I wanted it so I rate it a five star love it,really enjoyed my birthday. thank you

    Hi I had a good time and would of given 5 star but because we had been out on table by the stairs toilets etc I had people pushing my chair and bashing into me constantly I did ask to be moved but was told as you can see we are fully booked and no alternative seating available This did spoil our evening and to be totally honest we left earlier than anticipated and we would of preferred to of spent our money elsewhere
