This hidden gem, a short walk from London Bridge, is London’s first real wine bar opened in 1965 by John Davy trading as a Free Vintner. Brimming with genuine character and jovial service, it has the feel of a private members club (for ladies and gentleman) and is home to some of the most original private rooms in the area. Best quality meats hand carved off the bone, award winning steak and delicious seasonal dishes cater for discerning customers. All polished off with a British cheese board and sticky puds. Welcome to Tonkotsu Bar & RamenOur restaurant Tonkotsu is named after the lip-smacking, creamy ramen typical in Kyushu, Japan’s southern-most island, but found all over Japan. Tonkotsu ramen’s smooth, silky consistency is created by cooking pork bones for up to 18 hours, which allows collagen and other porky goodness to be emulsified into the stock.
