Kiln is a small restaurant in the heart of the Ouseburn. We make everything ourselves and push to be better than the day before.We serve brunch every morning from 10am to 2:45pm.Our Mediterranean & Middle Eastern inspired tapas style menu is served from 5pm to 9:30pm.Our great coffee, homemade cakes and cocktails are served all day - and we’re dog friendly!Please inform the staff of any allergies when booking & due to the nature of our menu please note we cannot accommodate anyone with a severe nut or sesame allergy.Thank you!

We’re big on warmth, low on fussiness: stripped wood floors, high bar stools, painted brickwork and comfy leather banquettes. Sup your pint beside our polished-oak bar or tuck yourself away in the Snug behind the frosted glass partition. Pho Newcastle is a healthy Vietnamese restaurant with loads of vegan and gluten free options. We specialise in pho, the Vietnamese noodle soup, and also serve delicious curries, rice dishes, wok-fried noodles and healthy salads, too. We also have loads of starters that are perfect for sharing with friends and family. Over a third of our menu is vegan, and nearly all of it is gluten-free, so we are a great destination for people who follow those particular diets. We are accredited by Coeliac UK. This breakfast, lunch and early evening venue is the place for a mid-shopping trip lunch, business meeting, afternoon tea, or a quiet cup of the good stuff. A place where ‘me time’ matters.Booking is not required however we do take reservations from 2:00 onwards for Afternoon Tea.Our last booking is at 4:45pm Monday to Saturday and 3:45 on Sunday.
