The Black Horse in the village of Fulmer is nestled between Gerrards Cross and Pinewood Studios. The 17th Century craftsman’s cottage has gradually been extended to form a charming country pub full of nooks and crannies. Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We are proud of our seasonally changing menus, simple, yet exciting using the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. Certain dishes have become specialities such as our sticky ribs and homemade 8oz burgers. Our beef has been aged for a minimum of 35 days and the roast beef served on Sundays is unrivalled. Third time visiting Reis and it never fails to provide the best ambience for a wonderfully social evening. Food and staff are exceptional. Nothing too much trouble. Shame the dancing space isn’t a little bit bigger but apart from that would highly recommend this venue for any occasion.

This is the second time we have had Sunday lunch and the food was delicious, service was first class. Our waitress Aga and the team were excellent, very helpful and extremely pleasant. Will definitely recommend going there.

Delicious food in lovely comfortable restaurant; service was impeccable; wine ordered was a quality product; we thought the set lunch provided great value with free basket of hot bread with some sauces Overall a great experience as we had a lovely leisurely afternoon over lunch and we will definitely repeat this soon

I've always liked this place. It just missed the mark a little for me this time. The calamari was very very chewy. The Tuna Niçoise Salad was OK.
