Exciting times here at The Dovecote, we are having a refurbishment!This affects reservations made between 17th Feb and 7th March, Opening hours will remain the same, however we will be moving the restaurant into our Granary Loft function suite while we carry out the works. Access will be through our function entrance.Unfortunately during this period there will be no disabled access or disabled toilets.We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.We are looking forward to welcoming you all back, customers old and new and hope you love the refurbishment as much as we do!

BEAR Hockley is perched slap-bang in the middle of Nottingham's creative neighbourhood. With its small red frontage nestled in amongst the rainbow colours of Carlton Street, the store has a lot more to show off inside than first meets the eye. Expect light, breezy decor, cosy coffee & cocktail nooks, and (our favourite feature) a beautiful glass roof that floods the place with natural sunlight.

Red Dog is an authentic Bar and American BAR-B-Q restaurant, serving 18-hour roast ribs, brisket, aged chuck steak burgers and much more, all best enjoyed with tasty cocktails or milkshakes.Barbeque grew up in the South of the USA where cooks learned to slow roast cuts of meat over fire pits to make them tender. Exposure to the smoke of the smouldering wood added a distinctive smoky and juicy taste to the meat. Our award-winning smokers have been imported from the USA and are built to recreate the cooking process of those original fire pits. We use the traditional American woods of hickory and mesquite to give a full smoke flavour, and the meat stays in the smoker for up to 18 hours.

True Indian lovers in Nottingham will already be familiar with this acclaimed restaurant on Maid Marian Way. A modern space with bucket-loads of style and a menu that had the restaurant named 'Runner Up Best Restaurant' by The Observer Food Monthly Awards. This ornate, luxe dining room is dressed with maroon coloured feature walls, Indian craftwork and leather sofas. The wine list is mostly Euro with a few antipodean bottles thrown in for good measure, and signature dishes at MemSaab include the tandoori ostrich infused with garlic and red chilli; and the rasmalai dessert - Indian milk patties in a saffron sauce garnished with edible rose petals.
