Lunch Menu - Two Courses for £35 / Three Courses for £40We are an independent restaurant in the heart of Chester offering microseasonal dining with menus designed around what's growing on our farm in Daresbury. Menus change every four to six weeks. Please note we are currently card-only and unable to accept cash. Meat / Game / Pescatarian / Vegetarian / Vegan / GF / DF- - -If your preferred time is not available please make a note on your reservation and we will try our best to accommodate you in the event of a cancellation. A new, growing-led “British Tapas” restaurant from the teams behind Chef's Table and Growing @Field 28. The menu features an inventive and daily-changing selection of vegetarian, vegan, meat, fish and game plates, each dish is crafted from Field 28's daily harvest of pesticide and biocide-free heritage produce and specialist leaf, served alongside a selection of hand-crafted cordials, cocktails and wines. Lunch Offer : 3 Plates for £20, served at lunch Thursday-Saturday. Please note we are a separate restaurant to Chef's Table. We are currently unable to accept cash at our new premises and are card-only.

The Ring O’ Bells is located in the heart of the picturesque Cheshire village Christleton.     We had the best time at Shrub! The food was incredible, we would highly recommend the spouts. Great value for money with high quality. The young lady who served us was very friendly and great at her job. We will 100% come again.

    Oh my goodness we had a beautiful meal, the starters and desserts were exceptional. We chose several from the snack menu. Tempura prawns were outstanding. The mains were really good, only issue was monkfish still had water residue that sadly diluted the Thai sauce, and potatoes oil the venison dish were a tiny bit over salted. This didn’t affect our overall experience and the restaurant was very busy due to valentines night. More staff would have helped reduce waiting times and probably the tiniest faults mentioned. These were not worth mentioning at the time as staff were doing their very best. Mentioning now for management feedback. Will definitely visit again! The starters and desserts were the best we’d ever tried!! All Staff so friendly and welcoming!

    Fast service. Exceptional food. Friendly efficient staff. Clean & comfortable with a cosy atmosphere. I highly recommend The Allotment Vegan Eatery. We'll definitely be returning.

    We thoroughly enjoyed the food. The dishes, small plates akin to tapas, were delicious and inventive. We particularly enjoyed the BBQ Octopus and fresh Anchovies. It was an informal and relaxed dining experience that we will certainly repeat in the future.
