Robun is a tribute to Japanese author Kanagaki Robun and his 1872 book Seiyō ryōritsū, which introduced Western barbecue to Japan.Our modern-day interpretation of Yakiniku specialises in sharing plates of beautiful robata grilled dished large plates fused with elements from across Asia, paired with inspired cocktails and an extensive choice of Japanese whiskeys or sake in the most inviting and sociable of settings.Alongside our innovative selection of sashimi, salads and small plates, our fresh sushi is served in a variety of creative incarnations including soft-shell crab futomaki roll with kimchi mayo and a tobiko-topped nigiri.Upstairs in the Kanagaki Suite, we provide an events space and cocktail bar set to host celebrations and events. Exquisite lunch at Landrace as usual! Delicious small plates to share - the cheese fritters are always a must but today really enjoyed the boquerones and Devon crab on toast. The Cantabrian boquerones were so tasty in a luxurious olive oil - perfect on the Landrace bread! Thank you!

Our second time at Robun. We chose the sharing menu between 3 of us. Highly recommended! Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Such a special Japanese restaurant in Bath. And not a chain too. Only criticism was it was a bit chilly last night in the restaurant. It had been snowing yesterday so was our first very cold day. Maybe a little more heating!

The food was cooked to perfection.The staff were attentive but not over attentive. We visit La Famiglia on a regular basis and have yet to be disappointed.
