Dining at Centurion Club is a warm, welcoming and elegant setting to enjoy seasonal British flavours. Diners can enjoy the relaxed ambiance of the main restaurant, have a drink out on the terrace or Lounge Bar, or book one of the private dining rooms for an intimate gathering. These rooms accommodate up to 38 diners.There are a seelction of menus available in the restaurant including a la Carte, Sunday Roast, Prix Fixe and Afternoon Tea all prepared to perfection by Head Chef, Calvin Hill and his team of chefs.

A modern pub serving a frequently changing menu, available in our dining room, bar, and outside ledges. It's not fine dining, nor is it trying to be. We cook in a way that we as cooks like to eat, so don’t be afraid to share. If you want to pop in for a burger and a pint, feel free to grab any available space in the bar or outside. We accept bookings for tables of up to six people in the dining room.It can be loud and slightly chaotic; at night it is dark. We turn tables because we need to in order to survive and pay the people that make it work, so please don’t be offended if we ask you to wait a moment for your table. Priding ourselves on our motto ‘Famous for fish’ Smiths Restaurants is a name that has become synonymous with fine dining and quality, attentive service.     We had the most delicious roast beef dinner it was delicious, the gravy was Devine, potatoes amazing, veg was ok would have preferred more green leafy vegetables was it was fine The cherry Bakewell as always was delicious, Service brilliant as always, The only tiny thing was our rolls were hard and dry.

    Absolutely fabulous, food was delicious and outstanding, staff as always were attentive, polite and friendly. Always exceptionally clean and the perfect environment to eat amazing food and enjoy conversation. I know not important to everyone but I have to say the ladies toilet is a delight to use with fabulous toiletries. Thank you to you all for another perfect anniversary lunch.

    This is always a lovely stylish restaurant to visit. Lovely on Valentines night not to have a restricted menu or be told we want your table back in 90minutes which happens elsewhere. Starters of scallops and ham hock were delicious. Mains of steak and duck were very generous. I couldn’t finish the duck , perhaps would have liked another vegetable on the plate. Desserts again, Large! Nice to have the addition of a live singer too.
