Bringing 1940s Paris to modern-day Edinburgh, Café St Honoré restaurant is a charming bistro serving up traditional French cuisine (with a few Scottish favourites thrown in) to a loyal clientele. Just an unbeatable restaurant experience. Very tasty steaks, great wine and excellent service. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Definitely our favourite restaurant in Edinburgh. Huge thanks as well for helping us celebrate a special business occasion!

An oasis of France in a city centre. French cooking, French amity with style but no snobbery. We have been going for over 20 years and love seeing new faces, fleeing jaded junk, finally to find the real French touch. I've been passed and wanted only a sandwich and immediately was given a delightful plate of real food. And we've taken parties of 8, in a private room - just sizzling. Parfait!

We came here a year and a half ago and I have been craving the baked eggs with goats cheese ever since! Today we ordered that (obviously), eggs Benedict with spinach and mushrooms, a green juice to round it out, coffee, snd a flat white. Everything was as delicious as I remembered and our next stay in Edinburgh will include a repeat visit!

This is not a cheap option for lunch, but for a special occasion or treat, it is one of my favourite places in Edinburgh. The food, service and ambience are consistently exceptional. Definitely need to book in advance. The phone was busy all lunchtime with people looking for a table that night but they were fully booked.
