The Quality Chop House celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2019.Our menus are seasonally-focused and change daily based around the best produce delivered each morning. We suggest bookings, but do take walk-ins.In addition to our a la carte menu, we offer a £29 set lunch menu (January to November), and on Sunday lunches we serve a splendid roast.If you are interested in a table for more than 6 guests, we have a Private Dining Room that seats up to 14.     The food was really good, we got the shoulder of lamb and the chicken and the Sunday dinner was really tasty. The service was really good and the place was clean, tidy and very cozy. The desert was terrific also as we ordered the berry and apple crumble and sticky toffee pudding, both with custard. Would definitely recommend and be returning 100%

    We book via OpenTable and ended up sitting in the bar where we thought we had booked the restaurant. Despite being busy on valentines evening the manager found space for us and we enjoyed a very good meal! The lamb was exceptional and service matched. Will dine here again in the future. Thanks

    We always have a great time at Lore, the staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome even though they are rushing about they still take the time to talk to you, food is outstanding and the service is amazing, booked in for Sunday roast in June and December.

    Lovely meal in very pleasant dining area. Despite being very busy with a pre-booked party of 30 the staff were plentiful and extremely attentive and meals brought out very swiftly. Lovely atmosphere and vibe. The food and drinks were all excellent, just the right amounts and good value. Will return again soon
