really good food and excellent service. My only gripe was the coffee wasn't great.

Food was absolutely excellent. Service excellent too. Perhaps our table could have been slightly bigger but, otherwise, the ambience was perfect

We visit Quod regularly and after today's meal I question why we hadn't been for a while. First course good although needed to borrow someone else's teeth to crack the croutons. Calves liver superb, could have been a little more pink but so difficult to do in a large restaurant with thin slices, mash, kale and bacon and tasty sauce set the whole meal off. Our waitress who we now know well was as good as ever and at £34.60 a head great value. See you again soon!

We had a fabulous dinner at The White Hart. We were hosting friends visiting from Australia and they were impressed by the high quality of the food and the atmosphere. The service was also excellent. Our only minor complaint would be the high volume conversations (at times bordering on shouting) on the adjacent table which made conversation at our table difficult on occasion. But despite this our dinner was at the very top end for a village pub.

Food fabulous, great location and amazing staff! Our waiters looked after us and went above and beyond to make my sister’s birthday lunch special
