Da Emma is a hidden Italian gem located right in downtown Montreal. Since the restaurant itself is located below street level, many people pass by this little trattoria every day without realizing it. The only sign for it is painted on a nearby brick wall in black and white and consists entirely of a downward pointing arrow and the word "Emma". It is because it is a little hard to find that diners feel like they are in on a secret not everyone knows about.Inside, Da Emma goes with a sleek and modern style complete with dark wood tones and white tablecloths. The menu consists of both classic and modern Italian plates.     I had a great time at tiamo, me and my girlfriend shared 3 dishes, the Brie fondant appetizer plus the lobster ravioli and the margarita pizza, the fondant was good the lobster ravioli was soso I just wish the lobster was in chunks rather then ground into the filling but other then that it was great and the pizza was amazing, one of the best if had in the city! Overall good time and I would recommend

    Great location, modern and well designed, felt spacious and open. Perfect service, just attentive enough to feel like they are aware of you without being annoying. Food was delicious, a small menu made with good ingredients, simple but tasty, as Italian food should be. Overall a good experience, I will certainly be returning soon

    Camille was our server for my mother's birthday, I was pleasantly surprised by the service from coming in getting our coats taken care of to the tailored recommendations based on what my parents' food preferences. We had a great time and a great birthday celebration at Stellina!
