Bar Mezzana is a coastal Italian restaurant by Chef Colin Lynch at Ink Block in Boston’s South End, specializing in crudo and hand-made pasta. Signature dishes like Chicken Under a Brick, Grilled Octopus and Orecchiette with Sausage have become instant classics. Seasonal menu updates incorporate flavors from local farmers and purveyors. The crudo menu changes daily - think Nantucket bay scallops and razor clams along with Japanese and European delicacies like shima aji and lubina. All are expertly prepared with bright touches of citrus, oils and salts. Reserve in the dining room for a family dinner or date night. Enjoy the bar and lounge for bar snacks and a great burger.     Food was excellent and very well priced. Vibe and atmosphere great. Bartender came to table to ensure we had our cocktails the way we wanted given our specific requests. Also they sent another cocktail over when they realized they made a minor mistake .. again a very nice gesture and attention to detail, which added to a feeling you were dining at a place where they cared about your experience. Highly recommend and cannot wait to go back.

    Great evening! Food was delicious.. interesting flavors, perfectly cooked, fun to share .. especially the large plates sharing tacos.. chicken and pork. Yum. Fun drinks Great server Gil.
