Joule, the first restaurant from celebrated husband and wife cooking team Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi, is re-located in October, 2012 to the innovative, newly developed the Fremont Collective in Seattle’s Wallingford/Fremont neighborhood. From its original opening in 2007, Joule has cultivated a loyal dining fan base and captured the attention of an admiring local and national media captivated by the couple’s unique, modern perspective on Korean cuisine. Joule, the mature sibling to Yang and Chirchi’s restaurant, Revel, highlights Korea’s love of beef featuring unconventional cuts accompanied by distinctive and shareable side dishes.Joule takes reservations for 1.75-3 hour time slots (depending on party size). Pretty sure it was the best steak I ever had! It was absolutely delicious! We also had delicious wine and the dessert wine flight. It was an excellent experience!

There were 8 of us seated after the Nutcracker. We had our choice of the dining room or the bar. We chose a high topper in the bar. To put it simply service was excellent from the minute we were greeted at the door to taking our leave. The food was exceptional with a large and varied menu that provided everyone with what they wanted. Ordering came down to trying for as wide a selection as possible which was easy. My food recommendation - get anything that looks interesting to you. We will definitely come back to enjoy again.

I was very pleased with everything at Stanford’s. From the comfortable atmosphere to the attentive wait staff to the excellent food. I would certainly recommend this establishment. We had the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and they were probably some of the best I’ve ever had! The side salad was delicious and included a lot of veggies, bacon, egg, and croutons. We had the Italian chicken with artichokes capers, and dry tomatoes. Definitely pallet pleasing.
