Curated by Aaron Taylor, Atlas Restaurant Group’s Corporate Chef & Chef Partner in this concept, the menu puts steak in the spotlight with over 11 cuts from Chicago-based meat purveyor Meats by Linz. The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ampersea, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, Joey, the manager/greeter, greeted us with such warmth and enthusiasm that we felt right at home. His kindness set the tone for the entire evening. The service throughout the meal was impeccable—our waiters were attentive without being overbearing, ensuring our drinks were always topped off and checking in just the right amount. A special shout-out goes to Oscar, the bartender, who was absolutely phenomenal. He crafted some of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while, with perfect balance and creativity. Overall, Ampersea delivered on both food and service, and the personal touches from Joey and the rest of the team made it a memorable night. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, fantastic drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere!

Ruxton's was fantastic. I had the Bone-in-Delmonico steak, cooked to a PERFECT medium, with truffle butter as an accoutrement, I could not be more satisfied with my choice. I have eaten at plenty of steak houses on par with Ruxton's, but my meal at Ruxton's was as good as the very best of them, if not better. I would recommend Ruxton's to anyone as a top notch dining experience!
