The Chateau in Braintree serves diners classic Italian cuisine in a casual and friendly setting. The restaurant has an extensive menu that offers dishes to please meat-eaters as well as vegetarians. Visiting from Florida. Found this place had good reviews so we tried it. Very happy we did. Arrived at 4:00pm so it was quiet. Food was amazing. Beet salad was sweet and delicious. Squid ink pasta with seafood (Pescadero?) had shrimp, squid, clams and lobster….fantastic! Sauce was so good I wanted to clean off the clam shells to get every drop :). Husband had clam chowder and Brick Chicken, he thoroughly enjoyed. Food came out quickly which was great since we parked in a one hour zone. Server was very friendly and kind. Would definitely love to go back. Noticed they have Sunday brunch so I just might.
