15 Point Road, A special treat in Portsmouth Rhode Island along the Sakonnet River. Busy, but not crowded, 15 Point offers casual upscale dining with an enchanting moonlit river view. A traditional menu, strongly influenced by the local bounty (especially from the sea), pleases most everyone and house specialties are an ever-changing eclectic delight of innovative and contemporary dishes. Once inside you will be entranced by the view of the Sakonnet River which leads out to the ocean beyond through the panorama of windows. From seating to dessert, our experience is always superb. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the food is cooked to perfection, and the view is one of our favorites. Tonight, for a second time, Nate was our server and as previously experienced, he gave us great service.

We celebrated our son’s graduation from naval chaplaincy school here. Everything was wonderful! Our server was so friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. We had a corner table with a great view of the water. There were quite a few other groups in our area, so the noise level did rise a bit, but we could still have comfortable conversation. At the end of our meal, our server brought a card to our son, signed by the staff, congratulating him on his accomplishment! I definitely recommend The Mooring for any occasion!

I frequently dine at the Blue Anchor. Tonight I went for their new Wednesday pasta prix fixe. It was outstanding and well worth the money. The Pasta Bolognese was one of the best I’ve had. Kudos on another great meal.
