Izakaya Den is Denver’s popular Japanese gastropub, modeled after the lively after hours establishments found throughout Japan. Great experience as always. Food is well-prepared and tasty. My swordfish was outstanding as was my wife’s risotto. Nice wine list and service that makes us want to return soon. Monica, our server, is friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

The food and service was outstanding! Very fresh and tasty oysters on the half shell. Steaks were perfectly cooked and very tender. Carrot cake for dessert was good too. Service staff was sociable and attentive. Valet service was excellent as well. When we were ready to leave the restaurant, the valet had our car wait, running and seat heaters on before we went outside because he saw us putting our coats inside the restaurant. Overall very impressed!

Excellent food and service although a bit too noisy, some sound masking would be a great idea with so many hard surfaces. Getting a reservation is tough, which is annoying as we live nearby. Happy to have a great caliber restaurant that feels fresh and light in this area. Loved the locally grown fresh greens!
