We first curate the wine list which includes 65+ wines by the glass and then design a food menu that specifically complements the wine. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Julian Silvera who spent his early culinary career in restaurants in his native NYC. We had a wonderful time celebrating our friend’s birthday. Food was good, ambience great, cocktails were excellent and the service was par excellence. Alex was courteous, professional and made our celebration special. Highly recommend the restaurant. Will definitely come back again.

The cashew chicken salad was delicious! The lavender & lemon “Refresher” mocktail was a perfect accompaniment. We arrived at 11:30 and it was nice and quiet. It became more loud and lively as the place filled up. Tip: It is one of the few local restaurants open on Monday, so a reservation is a must! Parkside remains one of my favorite lunch spots. 👍🏻

My first visit to The Heid was a very pleasant one - it has a fine taste in decor and the whole Inn is in a lush green serene creek side setting. The appetizers/small bites were delicious and good to share with 2-4 people. We had Hummus, flatbread and charcuterie dishes. I and my friends were there during Happy Hour between 5 and 7pm when some beer and a couple of cocktail drinks were a few dollars off. I would go back and try their breakfast next time.
