Sullivan’s Quay (pronounced, “Key”) or “Sullie’s Quay,” as it is known locally, is one of the oldest settled parts of my home, County Cork. The word Quay is actually defined: A wharf formed towards the sea or at the side of a harbour for convenience of loading or unloading goods.You will notice our dining room walls adorned with Murals of Architecture from the area of Sullivan’s Quay around the 19th century, when Jack Sullivan, whom the area is named after, patrolled the streets selling beer and wine to the local saloonkeepers.     I had the pleasure of celebrating my wife's birthday today, and I can't say enough about the incredible experience we had! The food was absolutely fantastic, with each dish expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a special occasion. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The owner, Aleksandra, was incredibly friendly and sweet, making us feel right at home. Her attention to detail and genuine care for our experience made the evening even more memorable. Overall, it was a perfect celebration, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, a lovely atmosphere, and wonderful service.
