Farm Table is a locally owned and operated restaurant that has been a part of the Wake Forest community since 2014. We have watched this community grow. We have grown along with it, and as a result, we have been successful. It has been through this growth that we have become a staple in our community. Our statement of farm to table is our truth. We support as many local growers as we can because it is the local community who support us day in and day out. We truly love being a part of this amazing community.

Eighty Acres Kitchen & Bar is a relaxed restaurant featuring New American cuisine with a farm-to-table emphasis. We are a family-owned and operated restaurant, with head chef Don Winkie leading the kitchen. At present, with business hours adjusted due to challenges of re-opening during the pandemic, Eighty Acres Kitchen & Bar is serving a modified brunch, dinner, and take-out Thursday-Sunday from 11:30 am - 9pm. The patio is open! Please call us directly to reserve your spot on the patio. Due to social distancing, reservations are strongly encouraged for bar and dining room seating. The Hartwood Restaurant enjoys a rich history. The originally the headquarters of the Harmar Coal Company. Purchased in 1988, the building was transformed into retail space, including antiques and a bookstore. Café tables were soon added amongst the book shelves, Over the years, The Hartwood Restaurant has evolved into a charming and unique place for meals, drinks, and events. The elegant dining rooms and a pub featuring hand-tooled woodwork and stained glass artwork.The Hartwood also features outdoor dining in a garden-like atmosphere, complete with a wood burning fireplace. Whisper’s Pub features an eclectic wine list from around the world with more than a dozen different wines by the glass, as well as seasonal cocktails, craft beers, and wine flights. Enjoy the many different spaces our restaurant has to offer, including the intimate tables in our dining rooms, Whisper's Pub, dining al fresco, and private rooms for parties.     My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner at Fig and Ash. The crab cake as an appetizer and the meatloaf were standouts, though honestly, the mashed potatoes with the meatloaf may have been the best bite. They were truly excellent. The brownie and ice cream was a great way to finish the meal. We are looking forward to coming back again.

    BEST DINNER EVER!!! It truly was an amazing experience with wonderful food and great staff. Everything was so carefully crafted and went perfectly together. You can tell the chefs take great pride in what they do. I’ll be thinking about this meal until the next time we go back!

    As always, the food is delicious and look forward to menu additions for the day or “Holiday”. In this case, the Valentine’s Day specials were creative and excellent. While the noise level was “energetic”, it was not overly loud and the music was appropriate to the dining experience. Look forward to my next visit.

    My wife had lobster stuffed lobster and I had filet mignon with lump crab. We both had a salad, artichokes, and cauliflower risotto, and shared a bottle of wine. Everything was perfect. How could it not? Jordan was a great server.

    My boyfriend and I had a fantastic Valentine's Day dinner there. Everyone working there was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic and the ambiance was excellent. I would definitely go back!
