Dining at Lorea in Mexico City was an extraordinary experience, elevated even further by sitting at the chef’s table, where we witnessed firsthand the artistry of Chef Oswaldo Oliva and his talented team. The tasting menu was a masterful celebration of Mexican ingredients and flavors, thoughtfully reimagined through modern techniques and creative storytelling. Each dish showcased a deep respect for native ingredients, blending tradition with innovation in unexpected yet harmonious ways. The attention to detail was impeccable, not just in the food but also in the warm and knowledgeable service, making every moment feel intentional and special. The wine pairing was equally impressive, carefully curated to enhance the complexity of the dishes. While every selection stood out, the true revelation of the evening was the Rosa de Uva from Bodega del Viento (Coahuila, Mexico)—a beautifully balanced rosé that exemplifies the growing excellence of Mexican winemaking. This pairing, alongside the intricate flavors of the menu, highlighted the richness and diversity of Mexico’s culinary heritage. Lorea is more than a restaurant; it is a sensory journey through the best of Mexico’s ingredients, executed with precision, passion, and a touch of magic. Es mi segunda vez en Fabia y siempre es un placer visitarlos. Fue el cumpleaños de mi hermana y desde el recibimiento fue muy cálido, en todo momento estuvieron pendientes de nuestras necesidades y super amables. Los platillos con el sello de Fabia increíbles cada uno. Gran experiencia culinaria, lo recomiendo siempre.

Tenía mucho tiempo que un restaurante no me sorprendía tanto. La comida es excelente: todos los platillos son originales y creativos, los ingredientes son frescos y de alta calidad, las porciones son abundantes y los precios son justos; una combinación que ya no se encuentra fácilmente en esta ciudad. Eramos un grupo grande (10pax), probamos de todo (comida, bebidas, postres) y todos quedamos encantados. El ambiente es tranquilo pero acogedor y la ubicación es muy agradable. El servicio es atento y amable. En definitiva este lugar es una joya escondida. Estoy dividido entre querer que se quede así alejado del hype y que todo mundo lo conozca y tenga el reconocimiento que merece.
