Nestled in the canyons of Bel Air, SHU is a dining experience like no other - a fusion of Japanese, Italian and Latin flavors and influences.     Overall, the experience was positive. Although we experienced a 30-minute wait for the appetizer, the service provided by the waitress was attentive and pleasant. Additionally, the quality of the food was excellent.

    We saw this restaurant pop up in Open Table as a date night/experience suggestion and we were excited to try a new Omakase location in LA, especially in the valley. We absolutely LOVED the meal. We tried several fish we hadn't eaten before, and preparations of unagi and tilefish that were new to us. Everything is really thoughtfully designed, the chef prepared everything right in front of us and kept us all entertained, and the wait staff was incredibly kind and attentive. This place is really something special - can't wait to come back in the future! Favorites: the tilefish, fried unagi, chawanmushi, wagyu sushi bite, the quail egg/uni bite, and the dessert! (So basically half the menu for the evening)

    Such delicious and high quality sushi!!! It’s a little bit out-of-the-way for us as we live down the hill on the other side of Beverly Hills but we always love to come here because it’s worth the drive. The food is so delicious and the flavors are unique. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s consistently delicious
