Takai by Kashiba is a fine dining Edo-Mae style Sushi restaurant that specializes exclusively in nigiri sushi. Sushi Counter is solely Chef's Omakase, seated at 5:30 and 7:30.Omakase is also available at our dining room tables along with a la carte Sushi options.We do not have vegan/vegetarian/kids menus available. We are able to accommodate most allergies.Led by Chef Jun Takai, the Omakase consists of local and international seafood accompanied by Kaiseki style dishes. Takai by Kashiba creates an elegant atmosphere whether you're seated at a table or the intimate sushi bar. Omakase style drink pairings are also available along with a thoughtful selection of Sake, Wine and Japanese Whisky.

    This was such an amazing experience! The service team was absolutely amazing. After every course, someone will replace your utensils. The price point is definitely up there but I think the experience is worth it. The first 2 courses blew my mind. I’m not new to omakase experience but never had Japanese bbq coursed out! For sure bringing something new and unique to Bellevue.

    Special occasion and the evening was fantastic. The service was great, staff was really knowledgeable about each course, the food was inventive and the flavors were wonderful. I recommend Takai highly. We will be back.
