Toloache is named after a flowering plant famed in Mexico for its use in love potions. We hope that when you dine with us you too will fall under the spell of chef Medina’s creative cooking, which incorporates seasonal and natural ingredients and more than a dozen types of chilies. After 52 beautiful years of serving NYC; we will be closing Mexico Lindo Restaurant on July 31st. It has been the honor of a lifetime to have provided our family traditions, home cooked meals and love filled hospitality to your celebrations of life. Our parents Antonio and Leonor Bonilla opened Mexico Lindo in 1972 and worked feverishly to start a family legacy. The memories we were able to create and share with our family, friends and customers are priceless. We are proud of being a NYC staple, small family business and a pilar of our community.
