Excellent dining experience along with superb service - a hidden gem in Chicago

Alpana is a lovely, one-of-a-kind space with outstanding food and attentive, friendly service. We had an exceptional meal which included the polenta with mushrooms, crispy brussels sprouts with saba (so good!), hearty mushroom ravioli and perfectly cooked salmon--and of courser, an excellent bottle of wine. Everything is so good yet the ambience is anything but pretentious - it's a bit like being at the best dinner party ever (that just happens to be in a stylish restaurant).

Honestly I can’t believe more people don’t know about the Resturant. It’s one of the best restaurants in Chicago. Everything top to bottom was a 10. Judy is an unbelievable server. Highly recommend!

All Meal Prep was an excellent experience. Food was good and the service was exceptional. The staff was so hospitable and friendly and made our birthday celebration so memorable. They have parking in the back and easy accessibility from the parking lot into the restaurant. (This was hugely appreciated as one person in our group had easy accessibility to the restaurant with a walker.) Great ambiance and very personable staff!
