There’s a popular saying in Peru, “Entre Pisco Y Nazca.” It translates to having fun in a social environment encompassing exceptional cocktails. We couldn’t think of a better way to describe our Gastrobar.

The vision behind our newest ceviche gastrobar is one of a lively place serving bold-flavored dishes, unique cocktails and a vast selection of national and international beers. Inspired by top restaurants in Peru and designed by Celano Design Studio, Pisco y Nazca’s atmosphere is casual, trendy and fun with a touch of subtle sophistication. At the helm is Chef Richard Bernaola, whose experience and passion for Peruvian cuisine together with an extensive amalgam of ingredients and recipes from various influences brings an exceptional diversity of dishes to the Pisco y Nazca table.

    The Miami Spice menu was terrific. There was so much food! Overall, the food was great, the service was spectacular. The restaurant was busy and pretty packed but the service never waivered. There was a fun vibe to the place for sure. As for the food, appetizers and entrees were very good with a special mention to the Pescado a lo Macho. For desert, the suspiro and flan were very good. The Creme Brulee was a little off. Overall, I highly recommend.

    Good. A bit pricey. Typical Miami service that waiters don’t really listen to the customers. For example if I say “whisky and ginger half and half” they will bring it however they see fit. Then you have to go back and forth. If you said “no onions “ the waiter will reply “ok, ok” but onions coming up.

    We were very disappointed with our last dinner experience here. The service was good, the waitstaff attentive, the ambiance energetic, and the vibe fun. We hadn't been here in a while because we don't often go to Kendall for dinner as the traffic and parking are a nightmare, but we were meeting friends for a couple's date night. After 15 minutes of looking for parking, we finally arrived at the restaurant. The hostess greeted us with a smile and gave us the table we requested. We ordered two bottles of wine plus drinks, which were all good. The Furai Roll was OK but nothing special. However, our main course was disappointing. We ordered the Lomo Saltado, which barely had any tenderloin as it was mostly a mountain of onions and fries. This is our favorite Peruvian dish, and we didn't choose the Miami Spice pre-fixe menu, so we were very surprised at the poor quality. With dining out being so expensive these days, you expect a decent meal when you're out. Sadly, this was not the case. I felt terrible about my party because I was the one who suggested the spot but would not return.
