   The service was subpar for the location and the food was just mediocre. The description of the food on the menu was deceptive. Their "fresh catch" was previously frozen and the dish that I ordered contained fish that I was unaware of until it arrived. I'm allergic to fish and had to send the order back. When I chose something else, it was not that great. they need to clarify the descriptions to include the word FISH. Not very happy with this restaurant.

   It was good as good as last year, so I came again this year. The taste was delicious and the best.

   We went for the pa’ina (Hawaiian food) buffet. The food was super ono (delicious) and there was good variety. The chicken long rice was probably the best I’ve ever had, and the kalua pig was super flavorful too. The lau lau was also pretty legit. The tako poke had a nice kick to it. The poi mochi, and the haupia were my faves from the dessert table. The view cannot be beat. At all. We sat inside, but outside was also an option. You can see the beach from everywhere. And the live Hawaiian music was a nice addition. Will definitely go back in the future.

   All 3 hosts were friendly and warm. We were seated closest to the beach, lovely background, easy to move about the dining area and buffet area. Although the restaurant was busy, it was very comfortable with the seating capacity, not overcrowded. The dining staff monitoring and refilling the buffet line were very friendly, each of them greeting us with Aloha. Eric our server, was very friendly and our glasses of water, always filled. My only disappointment was with the valet service when we first drove into the driveway. The valet person, didn't acknowledge, greet or guide us . It was busy with cars and I paused waiting for him to give us directions, which was never given. I understand we all have our bad days, but for an establishment like the Kahala, at the least, a greeting would have been appreciated. Upon leaving, the valet service was excellent, with friendly, polite and efficient service.

   This was second time we had the seafood buffet at the Plumeria Restaurant. I believe the quality of the food has gone down since the first time we ate there about two years ago. The sushi selection was very limited to only Ahi and Salmon, did not have squid, scallops or hamachi which was available two years ago. The Ahi Sashimi was discolored. The plain white rice was hard and of rather questionable quality. There were no dungeonous crabs as advertised in your menu. The fried noodles looked horrendous. The only thing worthy of note was your Chinese Salad, and crabs, although there were no containers for the butter. However, your wait staff was very attentive and helpful. I was rather disappointed at the seafood buffet and will probably not return for this venue and although I have eaten at your other buffet, probably will forgo it also, given the decline in your quality of the seafood buffet.

   We were overall disappointed with the quality of food. We rarely do buffets due to this but trusted this would be at a higher level given the Kahala brand as we have experienced at other hotels like Four Seasons or Halekulani The fresh catch was way overcookedand couldn’t eat it. The chicken was cold and stale. The prime rib was tasteless not as described. The salmon was farm raised not even wild caught and could not eat it. The watermelon was not fresh and the pineapple was not ripe and I’ve had better on the mainland. The deserts were poor quality, the crumble was low quality as well, felt like a cheap apple pie from Safeway.

   I love this place my go to Friday night on the way home charge the Tesla excellent meal perfect atmosphere there's a little grass and beachfront for the kids to play don't get any better than this place thank you

   朝食の利用。9時過ぎは比較的空いていて過ごしやすかったです。ブッフェのみなのか調べてもよく分からなかったけど、実際にはブッフェか普通の朝食メニューから一品ずつ選べました。 エッグベネディクトは上品な仕上がりで、ウベを使った紫色のパンが使用されていて全体的に優しい味付け。がっつり系の食事に飽きていたので個人的にはお気に入り！Thin Pancakesもホイップされたメープルソースは落ち着いた甘さ。量も丁度いい。 サービスはブッフェメインのレストランだから目を引くサービスは特にないけど皆んなほんわかで優しく満足でした。期待通り！ワイキキの喧騒を離れて優雅な朝食を楽しめました。また来たい！
