Located at 816 Arnold Ave in the beautiful shore community of Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey

The Poached Pear Bistro is a stylish, yet family friendly, BYO contemporary American restaurant featuring excellent food and reasonable prices in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Chef-owner Scott Giordano, formerly executive chef at Whispers in Spring Lake, NJ, and sous chef at the Saddle River Inn in Saddle River, NJ, and his highly professional kitchen and wait staff are committed to providing patrons with a truly pleasing and memorable dining experience.

    the tuna was delicious. great pairing of asian vegetables and sauce outstanding. my husband raved about the duck. noise level a bit loud but overall great evening!

    Food is always delicious and service if first rate. Love fact that it is a BYOB so you can enjoy your favorite wine with a great dinner. The fish special was delicious and my wife enjoyed the veal dish. The hot apple cobbler was a great dessert to cap a wonderful meal.

    Food quite good, service attentive and friendly, with very Knowledgeable wait staff. Food portions are twice what one would expect (or wish for) from a refined fine dining restaurant.

    The pork chops were Outstanding - I venture to say the BEST I have ever tasted with the exception of my mother’s from 50 years ago! The pear salad was over the top and the service and ambience could not have been better! Thank you for exposing us to such a delightful dining experience!! Ben Russell

    The service was good but for the cost I would think it should be better. Napkins on the ground not picked up, our waiter seemed unsure of specials and our bottle of water was never poured in our glasses after the initial pour. We sat on the left hand-side of the restaurant which is super loud especially with large parties.
