Located at 816 Arnold Ave in the beautiful shore community of Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey

The Poached Pear Bistro is a stylish, yet family friendly, BYO contemporary American restaurant featuring excellent food and reasonable prices in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Chef-owner Scott Giordano, formerly executive chef at Whispers in Spring Lake, NJ, and sous chef at the Saddle River Inn in Saddle River, NJ, and his highly professional kitchen and wait staff are committed to providing patrons with a truly pleasing and memorable dining experience.

    We have been dining at Poached Pear for years. This was another birthday that we celebrated here. Each and every time we dine at Poached Pear we are elated with the food, the service and the welcoming environment the staff extends to us. We have never, I repeat never, been to Poach Pear where we haven’t been totally satisfied with our experience. In our opinion it’s one of the finest restaurants in the state of New Jersey. I encourage anyone reading this to check them out.

    Lovely dinner with friendly, prompt service all around from appetizers to dessert. Octopus and shrimp salad was my favorite part. Will definitely return more often.

    Dining at Poached Pear was very enjoyable. The ambiance and staff were welcoming giving you a good feeling. We're not nearby but will be back before the summer crowd. :-)

    the tuna was delicious. great pairing of asian vegetables and sauce outstanding. my husband raved about the duck. noise level a bit loud but overall great evening!
