Located at 816 Arnold Ave in the beautiful shore community of Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey

The Poached Pear Bistro is a stylish, yet family friendly, BYO contemporary American restaurant featuring excellent food and reasonable prices in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Chef-owner Scott Giordano, formerly executive chef at Whispers in Spring Lake, NJ, and sous chef at the Saddle River Inn in Saddle River, NJ, and his highly professional kitchen and wait staff are committed to providing patrons with a truly pleasing and memorable dining experience.

    Restaurant looks great Corn soup delicious! Duck was ok. Small. The “cannoli” was too much. I found myself looking for more sweet potato filling. Sauce was good. Marge server very good

    The food is absolutely amazing The service was right on point. Very friendly. Staff works together making it very pleasant. The only thing missing would be a full bar.

    Always love to go to this restaurant, food quality is always consist, top shelf. Management is always very gracious, if you are at the shore this is the place to visit. I have been going there many years, since it opened and will continue as it is my favorite place.

    Best restaurant at the Jersey shore. It’s a BYOB so take a good bottle of wine with you and enjoy the pork chop, steak or fish. All are excellent. Don’t miss the Jersey Corn Bisque soup. It’s the best soup ever. Friendly staff. Don’t miss the opportunity to go with friends or family.

    We have been to Poached Pear for several special ocassions, anniversaries and a 90th birthday dinner. We've gone other times for no special reason except for a great meal! One suggestion is to include a printed sheet with specials. Conversations at other tables made it hard to hear the server (even though the server patiently repeated the choices).
