    We had an excellent experience on what was obviously a very busy night at Pomme Frite. Our server, Candice, was a delight. Attentive, but not overbearing. She anticipated our needs, before we had to ask for anything. The food was delicious and presented flawlessly. Noise level was high, but that was attributed solely to the loud group seated next to us. No wonder this restaurant has been around for 25 years!

    Always a wonderful experience. Transports us back to dining at small bistros in France and Belgium. The food is exceptional and the staff is efficient and charming. We have noted over the years that the restaurants we enjoy and continue to frequent are those where the owners are present and involved with there guests. That is true here.

    We had a wonderful Christmas dinner. The Escargot and the mussels were outstanding. The Belgium beer selection was amazing and we loved the beautiful setting.

    I'm giving a two star review here because of how a billing situation was handled here. We were in rush to see a movie and payed our bill, in which I tipped extremely generously because it was Christmas and we had a good meal and nice time. However our waitress handed us the wrong check. I get it accidents happed. What I am disappointed about is they called at 9:30 pm when my phone was shut off and I was a sleep. Instead of just leaving me a message and giving me appropriate time to follow up with them with the next day, they ran my Debit Card MULTIPLE TIMES; setting off a fraud alert and ultimately locking it. Because of this, I have no access to cash until next, which is the soonest my bank can get me a card, because there are no brick and mortar stores in the area. Being cut off from access to my cash during a busy holiday weekend is more than an inconvenience. I have been a loyal patron of your restaurant for several years, that should be indicator that I was good for it and would have been willing to work with you. I had no idea you handed me the wrong check. I deserved the opportunity to follow-up and pay the balance. It was your job to give me the correct check, which I would have a graciously paid. Now I'm cut off from my cash supply until next week. Next time you're dealing an error like this, This is huge inconvenience and should have been handled better. People are in bed at 9:30 pm, and you can't just expect them to readily available for a late night phone call. I certainly hope you'll use basic common sense and good judgement (which you were clearly lacking here on your end) in dealing with this, especially with local, loyal patrons. We deserve the better.

    Four of us went for dinner on Christmas Eve, the first night of a holiday menu running from then until New Year's Eve. The food was excellent, the server welcoming and efficient, and the ambience lovely. The gruff old proprietor added charming presence and one hot appetizer which was late did not in any way detract from the overall experience and instead just sort of melded into the hustle and bustle of the festive holiday feel of it all. Big thumbs up!
