Posana is a contemporary American restaurant in the heart of downtown Asheville on Historic Pack Square. With a focus on serving local, seasonal, and sustainable cuisine, Posana sources unprocessed, premium ingredients from nearly 65 different local purveyors and farmers each week and regularly changes the menu.     This has been my favorite restaurant for fine dining for quite some time now. Cocktails, salads, mains, desserts…. all of it perfect!!

    It took over an hour to get our food because the server put in our order wrong then as an apology the manager brought out a kale salad which my wife was allergic to. For a restaurant with a very limited selection of menu items this was doubly baffling. If you are in downtown Asheville there are many better options one or two doors down.

    Five of us celebrated Boxing Day at Posana and had a wonderful meal. Two members of our group are gluten intolerant and Posana provides a safe environment for them to eat without having to review every ingredient. It is also exemplary to have every option available to them without having to take a salad or the only protein based option. Kudos to the team for making us feel so welcome and a special thankyou to Teline (spelling?) for tolerating our English traditions.

    Where do I begin? First, Posana is my absolute favorite restaurant in Asheville! When we decided to come up for Christmas, I immediately made our reservation. Second, the food, delicious and presentation is wonderful! Third, Logan was a delight to have serve us and the cute hostess Lilly, was a sweetheart. I just love Posana!

    Lovely greeting by festive hostess. Service by Daphne was top notch, very observant and attentive. Shrimp and Grits was excellent. The Chestnut soup was a wonderful offering along with the kale salad. The chicken dish was a little bland.

    Posana is one of my go to restaurants in Asheville for special occasions. It is always delicious and I love that everything is gluten free. The dishes change quite frequently and there is always something for everyone in our group. The service is excellent as well. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    It was so nice to order anything I wanted off their menu. I have celiac disease and that doesn’t happen very often. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. I had the shrimp and grits and it was fabulous! My favorite pet was the dessert, we did a sample platter so I could taste everything and it was all delicious!!
