Posana is a contemporary American restaurant in the heart of downtown Asheville on Historic Pack Square. With a focus on serving local, seasonal, and sustainable cuisine, Posana sources unprocessed, premium ingredients from nearly 65 different local purveyors and farmers each week and regularly changes the menu. The restaurant’s warm welcoming main dining room is ideal for a weeknight dinner, weekend get together, or a special occasion celebration. We can’t wait to serve you.

    We had a number of appetizers and made it a grazing meal. Everything we had was outstanding. We shared the soup of the day which was a curried coconut and chickpea soup, delicious. We also had brussel sprouts which my husband won't usually eat but actually enjoyed them. We had mushrooms, pork belly and gnocchi too. There was nothing we had that made us regret our choices. I just ate too much because it was so good. The wine choices by the glad are really good too. The service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. We'll go back for sure

    It was my birthday and everyone was so kind, from the signed card I got when I came in, to our awesome server bringing champagne and a pre dinner treat, to everyone who stopped by wishing me a happy bday. Cocktails were awesome as usual. Kale salad and hush puppies were both gorgeous. But main course was worst I’ve had there- cold potatoes and overcooked, tough NY Strip. Our server offered to replace but we had eaten a little and were half full by that point so opted for dessert instead (cheesecake- beautiful!) Love this place and will go back again. I felt lots of love and everything but main was perfect as usual!

    Food innovative and delicious. They were having restaurant week. The red wine braised short ribs, celeriac and roasted carrots was flavorful and beautifully presented. Our waitstaff Logan was very professional, friendly and attentive

    Date night at its best! Could not have asked for a better experience than what we received here at Posana. From the presentation of the pre-dinner drinks to the desert, or from the ease and availability of our reservation to the professionalism and feeling of hospitality from our waitress, Lauren, it was amazing. When Taking our order, she did inform us that the very item I was looking forward to was not available due to the high volume of guests they had that evening. However, management gladly allowed for me to substitute it for another item with no issue. Even if one was looking for something negative to say about Posana, with an experience like we had, it would be impossible to find one. With the excellence of the meal (which huge congratulations to the kitchen, mind beyond blown) and the service of the staff, we will most definitely be back and telling others about our amazing dining experience.
