Fine food, wine & drinks, delivered with uncommon hospitality. Broad base of classic French Culinary Technique is the cornerstone for New American Cuisine, which is a true melting pot of cultures, ingredients, & techniques. We love the idea of applying modern day sensibilities to traditional recipes.

We have 2 levels at our restaurant, please indicate in the notes section if you are not able to navigate the stairs & need to be seated downstairs. (Lunch is downstairs only). Please note any dietary restrictions or let your server know upon arrival.

Parties of 7+, a credit card is required to hold the table & cancellation policy will be discussed when you make your reservation.

We do not offer a private dining area/outside seating/catering. We are happy to make suggestions if that is what you are looking for!

Corkage Fee is $20/bottle & Non-Postero Food Fee is $4/person

    We had a table upstairs, and it was freezing. It wasn’t just us- guests at tables around us had their jackets and vests on, and it was actually a topic of conversation among three or four tables. Because it was over 70°F outside, some poor souls had shorts on and they were absolutely miserable. When this was mentioned to our waitress, she made an excuse about it being an “open grill“ downstairs and that’s why it was so cold upstairs. The food was excellent – we’ve eaten here several times before – it was served on hot plates, but, as you can imagine, it cooled off much too soon. Again, unacceptable, and caused by the temperature. I stopped another waitress and explained that it was extremely cold, pointed out the people in tables around us with their vest and jackets on (so they wouldn’t think it was just us complaining) and she was polite and said she would mention it. When she came back upstairs, she said the air conditioning was “cycling“, and should turn off soon. All 4 folks at our table ordered coffee after we ate hoping to warm up and continue our visit. You guessed it – when the coffee arrived it was warm, not hot. My wife and I spent $240 w tip on a Wednesday night. This is absolutely top dollar, but the experience was well below average due to the extreme temperature. I very seldom leave bad reviews- typically just leave very strong, positive reviews for businesses. Unfortunately, this poor review is well deserved, and was 100% preventable.

    There aren’t many choices for dinner so this is where we usually go. The food is good but nothing special. The service was very good.

    The noise level was very high. It ruined our dining experience. There was a table of 6 adjacent to us that was extremely loud - screaming at each other. Management should have told them quiet down.

    Always an excellent experience. We had great cocktails and the salad was very tasty. We were delighted that the fillet is back!! And it was delicious. We also had the short rib and it was tender and so flavorful! Service was excellent as well.

    Client dinner. From the service to the dinner, everything was excellent. We don’t live in NC anymore, but I have already recommended Postero to our friends that do. Keep up the great work!

    We always enjoy Postero, and this time was no different. We both had the salmon, and it was delicious and different from what you will find anywhere else. Dessert was amazing. We highly recommend this restaurant. Our service was excellent; very friendly and attentive.
