Primeur is 10 years old in 2024 and one of the 34 Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurants that can be found in London.

We cook very simple food with a great attention to sourcing from sustainable and regenerative producers. Our wine cellar also reflects our focus on soil health and offers a wide selection of natural wines, from the classical to the more left-field grapes.

We have a private dining room hidden behind our wine cellar. Your dinner is served family style with 4 stages of food being brought to your table. There is no hire fee or minimum spend and you have access to our cellars to go off list with your wine options. Amazing food and atmosphere at Primeur, perfect date night spot. Was warm and cosy, the perfect vibe on a cold November evening. Each dish was inventive and perfectly executed.

Really lovely dinner. Food celebrates fresh, seasonal ingredients and the daily changing menu meant it was a surprise until we got there which is lovely! Staff were warm and friendly, happy to answer any questions. Wasn’t full but still felt really lively. Not too expensive in relative terms although I would say the size of some things (eg dessert) in compared to price was a little bit small. But the quality was absolutely excellent.

Been a while since I’ve been to primeur but still brilliant. Good food, good service and great atmosphere. Lovely Sunday lunch.

Loved it Next time will book earlier and not sit at the bar. Wine was pricey per glass but probably my normal for London I expect … utterly gorgeous though. I triad the Gamay and the Primitivo Staff brilliant and like tbe way the board had all the menu and nothing else. Red Mullet in tomato bisque - intense flavours Beetroot Apple Frisse Salad bang on . Dessert was flakey pastry cream custard and I think peach flavours all wonderful. Wish restaurants would invent different starters to olives and anchovies though ….. kind of on list menus of Mediterranean style nowadays but would like something new ……. ! Clearly am eating out too much !!! Thanks chefs and hospitality staff for a lovely eve.

Cod roe on toast was outstanding and the caponata with artichokes was absolutely stunning! Hats off to the chefs.
