We are honored that Primo has been designated a Recommended Restaurant in the inaugural Florida 2022 MICHELIN Guide. Led by award-winning chef Melissa Kelly, our restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine, featuring organic produce and a carefully crafted wine list.

The menu focuses on the farm-to-table experience with seasonal highlights including produce, honey and eggs sourced from on-premises Primo Garden and Whisper Creek Farm in addition to Mick's Farm and Frog Song Organics in the local community. All seafood is also locally sourced from Florida waters, including clams from Cedar Key, white shrimp and squid from Cape Canaveral, and Snapper, grouper, and other seasonal catch from Ponce Inlet. Mountain Trail Farm in Clermont, FL provides Primo with whole pigs, which are prepared several different ways. Primo also has a long-standing relationship with Lake Meadows Naturals in Ocoee, FL for chicken and ducks.

    The food is creative and very, very good. The service is excellent. But the switch from intimate, somewhat elegant to an industrial vibe with poor acoustics is a step down. Go for the food and service, not the decor

    Our starter of Harvest corn soup was delicious; the creamed soup was topped with corn relish and a few kernels of popcorn, which added a very different twist to the overall taste. We had scallops with pork belly and zaatar coated cobia, both of which were cooked to perfection. Dessert consisted of chocolate mousse, which was a “dry” version of mousse and a glass of house made limoncello, which unfortunately tasted more like lemon flavored water. We could have done without the mousse or the limoncello. The noise level was high in large part due to a family with children having dinner. The service was excellent! We would definitely return.

    The restaurant it’s inside of the Marriot hotel it looks nice but not elegant. The service it was great Giovanni gave us suggestions and he was very attentive. The food was very disappointed I got crab balls but it had more rice than crab. The pork dish another disappointment mashed potato’s with a pork filet on top , serious? A better presentation for the price would be better. This restaurant was a recommendation but it was disappointing visit.

    Always amazing food and the servers are top notch. The pork saltimboca is a MUST, as are their pizzas. The meatball appetizer was a hit, and for dessert the zepallos (donuts) are amazing.

    For a Michelin Recommended Restaurant, I was unimpressed. The food was very good but the service was poor. The waiter had too many tables to attend to. I was surprised how nearly every table had children at them who were loud. Not the place for a quiet dinner.

    Hostess was rude. Waitress was really very pleasant and knowledgeable. Food was good, but not exceptional. Ambience is like eating in a hotel lobby with lots of kids. Not the Michelin chef experience I was expecting.
