Prospect is from the team behind San Francisco's acclaimed Boulevard. Partners Nancy Oakes (James Beard award-winning chef/owner of Boulevard), Pam Mazzola and Kathy King, have created a restaurant that pays tribute to contemporary American cuisine. Whether it's a cocktail and a bite at the bar, a casual meal at the communal table, guests will receive exceptional hospitable service. A warm modern space in the heart of SOMA, Prospect has become an anchor for the community.
A separate dining room is available for private events.

    Prospect is one of our favorites in the City. This last visit was amazing with their newly added oysters Rockefeller on the menu.

    The Dungeness crab starter had too many spices. I expect crab dishes to be more subtle. Too many spices can mask the delicate flavor of crab. The risotto was okay. I don't often have risotto as many restaurants do not know how to prepare this Italian rice dish. I took a chance and it was okay. My dining mate enjoyed his Burrata salad with beets. We arrived on time for our OpenTable reservation at 5:30 and I got a message at 6:00 asking if I was still on the way to the restaurant. Did we get caught in a time-warp??

    Las porciones eran muy pequeñas, los postres no fueron muy buenos y el precio nos pareció algo elevado para la experiencia en general.

    The food was simply not very good. Beef over cooked, broccollini burned to hell, and the cheese tart was the worst dessert Ive had in a fine dining setting
