Nestled in the Distillery Historic District, Pure Spirits Oyster House and Grill invites you to experience the charm of Victorian-era industrial architecture, both indoors and on our delightful patio.     Driving south to north, the parking lot is on right hand side. Coming from Front on Parliament, pass Mill street and parking lot is on left hand side. There is parking 24 hours for up to 500 vehicles

    At the slightest sight of summer, we open the doors to our patio where you can sit and take in the beautiful Victorian Industrial architecture that the site is famous for. Grab a seat at the Oyster Bar where you can mingle with a Chef shucking your oysters to order and teaching you about the amazing flavours and how to best match it to our selection of local beers.

    The server was excellent, made great recommendations for drinks that weren't on the menu, super attentive and friendly. The food was simply outstanding and this is coming from my girlfriend who is a great cook. This was my second visit to Pure Spirits and my girlfriend's first. She was extremely impreseed and I scored major points. LOL

    Was super impressed by our overall experience at Pure Spirits. The menu was excellent, the food amazing, service incredible, and the wine crisp. Moderate pricing, but the portions were big! ill definitely be back soon.

    Highly recommend reservations this time of year, with the Winter Market going on. We had no issue with ours, however, next time will make an earlier reservation - they all seemed to be rushing the later sat tables. Our salads and main entrees all came at the same time. Our server was really accommodating and made it right. Food was very fresh, good portions and value Caesar Salad - perfect to share, fresh anchovies on top. Ribeye with mashed potatoes and asparagus - a bit fattier (even for a ribeye), but cooked perfectly! Mussels provencal with focaccia- generous portion, flavours are good. Prefer mine with frites. Ordered the frites with rosemary and Parmesan (extra charge) didn’t read carefully enough and it wasn’t fresh herbs and parm, it was a dip. Wouldn’t recommend - the mayo and ketchup were good. * note: the frites were more like “steak cut fries”, not shoestring frites. Good wine selection and appreciate that they serve their spirits with mix on the side. Thankful for the warm, bustling atmosphere - to come In from A chilly night at the market.

    Overall expereicne was great. Food was awesome. Appreciated Jean-Valery coming by and paying special attention and providing some good conversation. There is a reason why this restaurant does well.

    Our family loves every visit to Pure Spirits. They are always so welcoming, even when we show up with an ever increasing number of little ones. We never have a complaint and although we enjoy every aspect of our time there, the lovely staff from the receptionist to the chef are especially terrific!

    We ordered the calamari and had to send it back, absolutely no flavour and seemed undercooked. When we sent it back, we got no apology or any sort of acknowledgment. We ordered the fish tacos and the fish was pretty dry and we also gave the clam chowder a shot and it only has 3 claims? The flavour was delicious but you can’t seriously call it clam chowder if there is 3 tiny clams… pretty disappointing to be honest. We decided to skip dessert and went elsewhere.
